Reporting a Student Absent/Tardy from School:

There are multiple ways to report your child off sick or if they need to have an early dismissal.  The best way to report them off is by using Sapphire (preferred method) or sending an email (Email High School).  When using one of these methods your excuse note is already submitted and there is no need to send another note to school with your child.  *Please make sure your note explains the reason your child will be absent or getting picked up early.   The absence will remain unlawful if we are not given a reason.

*If using this method, you will still need to send in an excuse note for our files to explain the reason for your child’s absence.

College Visitation Form

Juniors and seniors are encouraged to visit schools they are considering for post-secondary study. Students must present a note signed by a parent/guardian at least one day in advance of the visit. Upon returning to school, the student must present a card from the college indicating the time and date of the scheduled appointment. Failure to do this will result in an unexcused/unlawful absence and an appropriate disciplinary measure. Seniors may have up to 4 college visits.
