AP stands for Advanced Placement. These are college level classes taught in high schools throughout the country. Any student taking an AP related course is required to take the AP exam and is responsible for test costs.  Please talk to your school counselor about fee waivers. AP Exams are administered in May.

AP exams are scored on a scale of 1-5 and can be accepted as college credit depending on the college’s AP Credit Policy.
